Who is SM?

So what can I tell you about me…    

  I’m SM.slurpy

I’m 21, a graduate and I currently live at home with my mam, step-dad and evil dog, Jasper. I am from and currently live in County Durham, England. However, I did my English Language & Linguistics (BA) Hons at a university in York, so I lived there for three years. On the picture to the right I am in Thailand, looking very sweaty and brown enjoying a lovely coconut. Yum.

Interesting facts about me?

I am mixed raced, my Grandad was from Ghana and this is very important on how I identify myself. I have an obsession with Stitch from Disney’s Lilo and Stitch, he’s badass. I also love The Lion King.

I have a Level 1 qualification in British Sign Language. I love tattoos and piercings, and currently have sixteen piercings and five seven tattoos. The piercings started originally as a rebellion against my Mum when I was fourteen and then it grew into an obsession, which was followed by tattoos. My haven is my bedroom. I like playing music in there and lighting incense/ joss sticks and candles. So if I’m in a low mood, you’ll find I’m often in there. I want to travel eventually, the furthest place I’ve ventured to was Thailand in September 2014, where I backpacked for three weeks. It was an amazing experience.

I suffer with mental health problems. I will sometimes do postings about what it’s like to have depression and anxiety and ways I find to help overcome it.

It’s always darkest before the dawn.

I am new to blogging and I am starting on here so I have a new hobby to enjoy. So please leave me any recommendations or topics I should write about below. Also, please follow me! I will follow you back..

  3. Hi there, glad you stumbled upon my crazy little blog. By the way, how in the world do you make fit in your body 16 piercings, that´s a lot of holes drilled !! I think is good that you talk about your problems with depression and anxiety, brave for you to write about it and it can help others.
